UPDATE: FIRST MEETING ON SEPTEMBER 26TH

Community groups at Mineola generally last about an hour and a half. Each group has trained and experienced leaders that are able to care for, teach and facilitate the discussion. Leaders also communicate with the group throughout the week as needed.
Groups spend time:

1. Studying the Bible

2. Discussing how it applies to our lives

3. Praying for each other so that we can build relationships with one another and follow Christ with greater commitment.

As groups become more established, there may be times when group leaders organize activities within the community for fellowship or for a missional purpose. Our groups follow the school year, and stop before the summer, giving enough time for leaders to prayerfully consider if they would like to commit again in the fall.

As our groups continue to mature, and new leaders are recognized, we would love to see multiplication happening. If interested in leading a community group, let us know! We typically have a community group leader’s training at the beginning of the year which lasts for 4 months.
