Partnering with families to raise a generation for Christ

AWANA, derived from Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15), aims to engage elementary-age students in Christ-centered discipleship. Our goal is to teach them to understand and handle the Word of truth, fostering love for God and others, all within a framework of fun and excitement. This non-denominational, Bible-centered program brings community students together to connect, hear the Word, memorize Scripture, and apply God's teachings. Visit the AWANA website for details.

Frequent Questions

  • Some parents will serve every week, and we ask every parent to at least sub twice each semester. Families will need to spend 20 minutes each week memorizing verses with their kids, then the kids will quote their memorized verses when they come to Awana.

  • Yes! Each Awana night kids will receive Awana bucks or stickers, and then we will have four Store Nights where kids will be able to get an even bigger prize!

  • We allocate Kids Ministry budget towards Awana, but it does not cover the full cost of all our supplies for the full school year (Awana books, Store Nights, awards). The cost we charge is only to help us break even for the budget year.
